Surface protection systems

Today, surface protection systems have multi-functional characteristics. In addition to providing an attractive appearance and the requirements placed on the preload (friction value) as well as sufficient corrosion protection, a range of further requirements must generally also be fulfilled.

For wheel bolts, ABC has developed special coatings for galvanic and zinc lamella coatings. These ensure a good dynamic wheel fit, which at the same time provide a high level of wheel cleaning reliability

For self-tapping screws used in aluminum and magnesium alloys, beyond a suitable structural design, special coating systems can significantly improve the fastening properties for initial and subsequent assemblies.
